The Baroque Artists of Champaign-Urbana hosts an annual competition for young musicians, 13 to 18 years old, who are studying Baroque vocal or instrumental music. YBAC was developed to foster interest in the music of the 17th and 18th centuries, and to discover and encourage exceptional young musical talent. Winners are awarded cash prizes and invited to perform at one of BACH’s Spring Concert.

The Chorale is a community chorus that hosts a scholarship competition annually in March for high school students. The winner receives $1000 to further their musical education. Contact Julie Beyler for more information.
